I am interested in your group, will try to visit tonight . I note that some-one in Australia has commented ; they are tracing their family history --back to Kent; I am also tracing mine , and wonder if we can help one another.

Congratulations to all the ladies, I am delighted to have found such an enterprising group. Who needs a committee, you all achieve such a lot. Sorry I cannot make it to all the meeting but look forward to seeing you when I can.

Are you only allowed to join if you are married? And do you get excluded if you get a divorce? Do you feel objectified by being defined as a wife (man's appendage) rather than a women? You're all obviously independant women......

Hello from New Zealand . I happened to see your website while doing a search. We obviously have a great interest in the town of Rainham as we imagine there must be a connection with the name. My husbands ancestors came from Kent and he is currently doing a family tree. Hopefully one day we will be in England to do some hands on research. In the meantime hope your Social Fuinctions are a great success.

Just a note to thank Hazel for getting us onto a website! Clever stuff! I specialy like the group's idea of meeting once in a while to ask what good ideas other people have for a speaker or activity. No need for a Planning Committee or other cumbersone arrangement.
